About Kids Cancer Crusade
Kids
Cancer Crusade was created in April 2006 in honor of Christi Thomas, a
young girl that was battling Neuroblastoma, a childhood cancer. Christi
passed away on September 19, 2006 but her legacy lives strong. She had
a pure love of life and delighted in bringing smiles to the faces
of other children with cancer.
Inspired
by Christi, we believe no family should go through a child's cancer
diagnosis alone. We strive to live like Christi did, by spreading
awareness of pediatric cancers in hopes of one day finding a cure and
by offering support to the families affected by it.
Please join us in our crusade by making a donation or by submitting your child to be supported by the organization.
"Every child's smile is beautiful; the smile of a child with cancer is inspirational."
-Jennifer Lehmann & Cheryl Ford

Did you know
that 12,500 children are diagnosed with cancer each year? That is 46
children, two classrooms full of students, are diagnosed every week day.
It is responsible for more deaths in children than any other
disease - more than asthma, diabetes, cystic fibrosis and AIDS combined.
Yet it remains vastly under-funded and under-supported, even by the most well-known research organizations.
September will be here before we know it...bring on the GOLD! Please know the facts, show your support and get involved!
